The Scout Guide: Custom Home in Point Clear

The Point Clear home sits across the street from Cane’s family Bay House and next-door to one of her other sibling’s residence. A perfect location for the Canes and their deep fondness for creating family memories.

A home is many things, it is a feeling and it is a reflection of those who reside there. Recently we were invited to the newly built home of Mary Cane, co-owner of Courtney and Morris Real Estate, in Point Clear. Mary is someone with deep roots in Mobile Bay, fun loving and truly friends with every person in town; what some people would refer to as “salt of the earth”. We were thrilled to come along with the key players who created her new abode to celebrate it’s completion. The home’s design is a classic take on a dogtrot where an open plan from front to back is perfect for casual entertaining, life is at the center of the home, and the openness fosters a oneness with the outdoor. The roofline from the outside boasts what you would think was a typical Gulf Coast low profile cottage, but then you walk inside the front door and are taken by surprise by the spacious interior.
