Walcott Adams Verneuille Architects (WAV) recently opened a Corporate Donor Advised Fund. By establishing this fund, WAV is able to establish its own philanthropy program while also benefitting from significant tax advantages.

“Since our founding 33 years ago, our firm has always been interested in the lives of our communities. We have enjoyed being a part of the evolutions of our towns, and have tried to give back to the communities whenever we were able," said Mac Walcott, a founding principal architect of WAV. "By creating the WAV Community Fund, we now have a vehicle that will offer some consistency and planning in how we can help. We are very excited to be a part of this and look forward to what comes next.”

Establishing a Corporate Donor Advised Fund is easy! Any donor or employee who gives to the fund receives a tax deduction and your company may recommend any qualified 501(c)3 nonprofit, government, school or faith-based organization in the U.S to receive a grant.

“Like all small businesses, our firm receives many diverse requests for various donations to the communities we work in," said Abby Davis, principal architect and interior designer at WAV. "By creating the Wav Community Fund, we now have a method that is simple and easy to use, and allows us to be more systematic and effective in the ways we try and help our community. I highly recommend this type of fund for any sized company that wants to help its community.”
