A graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, Rusty has experience in a variety of commercial projects, including hospitality, retail, and restaurants. While at WAV, he has also worked on post-secondary educational, institutional, and healthcare projects.

Growing up in a military family, Rusty has lived in several states, including Alabama, California, Texas, Florida, Virginia, and Tennessee. He met his wife, Sarah, in 2012, and they now live and work in the Fairhope area.

Rusty is actively involved in his community, volunteering his time as a Lions Den leader for Cub Scouts and coaching youth basketball. He also volunteers at a local elementary school and is part of the men’s group outreach at St. James Episcopal Church.
